CBT Therapy

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy which helps you to understand and change the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours causing you emotional distress. Whether your distress is related to past experiences; difficult life events; or childhood trauma – CBT can help you heal and move forward in life.

Every situation in our lives creates a chain reaction of thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. At times, you can “get stuck” in a vicious cycle and feel like you cannot break free. The longer you are stuck in this cycle the more unhappy, stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed you will feel.

This cycle can be mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausting.

The therapy sessions will help you to understand YOUR chain reaction of thoughts, feelings and behaviours, allowing you to become self-aware and mindful.

Over the course of the CBT sessions, you will develop tools, techniques, and long-term coping strategies that will help you to break free from cyclical behaviours and patterns; rebuild confidence; and feel in control of your life.

The one-to-one therapy sessions are structured and goal orientated. All sessions are confidential, giving you a safe and supportive space to:

  • Identify your stressors and triggers.
  • Change unhelpful thoughts; feelings; and behaviours
  • Develop coping strategies
  • Heal from unresolved trauma

CBT Therapy Packages

6 CBT Sessions

This package consists of  6 x 50 minute therapy sessions. 

  • Identify anxiety stressors and triggers

12 CBT Sessions

This package consists of 12 x 50 minute therapy sessions. 

  • Identify stressors and triggers
  • Understand the origins of these stressors and triggers
  • Develop coping strategies
  • Heal from unresolved trauma

16 CBT Sessions

This package consists of 16 x 50 minute therapy sessions.

  • Identify anxiety stressors and triggers
  • Understand the origins of these stressors and triggers
  • Develop coping strategies
  • Heal from unresolved trauma
  • Rebuild self-worth and self confidence
